Greg Butler serves as the company’s President. He oversees all aspects of operations, including cultivation, distribution of branded products, retail operations, corporate planning and investor relations.
Mr. Butler joined Cresco Labs in 2020 as Chief Commercial Officer and has advised the company since 2018. Serving in this role and most recently as Chief Transformation Officer, he has helped innovate and professionalize Cresco Labs’ business, from strategic planning to wholesale operations to retail expansion. Mr. Butler led the expansion of Cresco Labs’ House of Brands to be one of the most popular cannabis brand portfolios in America. He also steered the creation and expansion of the company’s highly productive retail network, Sunnyside, to over 70 stores.
Mr. Butler has over two decades of experience leading large, iconic and insurgent brands for large Fortune 500 and smaller privately owned businesses. Prior to joining Cresco Labs, he served as Operational Partner at MINIMAL, a global award-winning design firm, overseeing MNML Ventures, the creative capital accelerator of MINIMAL. He also worked at MillerCoors where he led the Miller Family of brands, a $2 billion portfolio, overseeing more than $225 million in annual spend.

Mr. Butler holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.Comm degree from Queen’s University.
